OMG… been dying to share this wedding for like forever! You already saw their same day edit, but here is there full film! Carolyn Chen – the awesome wedding coordinator, designer, and um… travel agent & concierge (and now their “go-to” for any family party) did a little write up for this post. Here it is:

“Instead of having a large wedding with potentially 500 guests or more, Emily & John loved the idea of having a destination wedding with only their closest family & friends, and so that’s what we did. We decided on the North Shore in Kauai, at the St. Regis Princeville Resort, and Emily & John hosted 100 of their dearest & nearest. The multi-day festivities began with a welcome luau poolside at the St. Regis Princeville Resort where guests were welcomed with kokui nut leis – and included John doing the hula, guests enjoying local Hawaiian cuisine and some of the guests jumping into the pool after having lost a game bet. For the wedding day, it was a gorgeous day though rain clouds came and went sporadically (after all it’s Hawaii, and the area has microclimates) – but the best word to describe the day was Ethereal. The ceremony at Kamani Cove, was set to a backdrop of the Na nou Makana mountains & breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean in Hanalei. Emily had wanted circular seating to create a very intimate ceremony – with a circle of love made with flower petals. All of the guests were again greeted with floral leis, and we incorporated traditional Hawaiian leis for the bride & groom, and their parents.  Emily’s father, who is a Pastor, officiated the wedding – which made the ceremony all the more personable and meaningful. At the wedding reception, there was just a plethora of white flowers everywhere. With hanging candles & candles galore that created a magical atmosphere for the guests while they dined to a 5-course wine pairing dinner. The day after brunch was a reflection of how much all the guests enjoyed the wedding weekend. A lifetime of memories were created in Kauai at Emily & John’s wedding, and watching the feature film again will surely bring back smiles & laughter!”
